Dear deviants, friends, watchers...
It's been a while, I have been busy with a new born baby, who is now nearly 9 months old (he is my second child, my first is nearly 9 years old).
I have also been co-running a monthly boutique arts market in Sellicks Beach, South Australia; some of you who are based in SA might have heard of it - The Sellicks Beach frente al mar Market. We just celebrated our first anniversary on the 21st June. I co-run it with my husband - also new - yes I married my soul mate in late January, in a lovely vintage garden wedding. The market we have unfortunately had to close due to various circumstances beyond our control.
But good news!! We're re-opening anew in early 2016 in the local community of Brighton (South Australia), the new market is called The Meeting Place Market
. We will be taking all our stall holders with us to the new market and are always looking for unique products and artists particularly wood and metal so if you make something unique look us up on facebook. Alternatively message me through my Bnspyrd fan page, speaking of if you need me urgently and I have not replied to your message on dA then that's there where you get a hold of me quickly. Also, I finally have my upright piano back in my home, it's an American honky-tonk piano Odeon I think it is called. The whole time I have had it and before that when it was my grandparents, it had never been tuned!! Suffice to say I quickly rectified that and some $200AUD later plus a day or two it is now in tune with no more clicky keys. Loving having my piano in my life again. I have been playing for about 30 years.
As you can imagine not much time for being creative with a baby, I drew the above painting on canvas board for my hubbie for his birthday last year.
I have been working with fabric markers on canvas shoes, calico teddies, pencil cases, cushion covers, baby onesies (of course!) and just recently hand sewing/embroidering combined with fabric painting onto dream-catcher like products; that I am calling Memory-Catchers. I have a couple of deviants on my personal facebook, if you are someone whom we used to keep in touch a lot with through deviantart shoot me a message through my Bnspyrd fb fan page.
I am currently sorting through some no longer wanted stock photos in my dA gallery, but other than that, enjoy the recent Tilli-CHILD stock photos I have uploaded, planning on creating some new decorative border art sometime over the next few months. Fingers crossed. Love seeing what you all create with my modern and vintage stocks. Will update journal again in December.Bnspyr'd
